Every single staff member was super friendly and helpful. The owner even table touched the say hi and made sure everything was good. The food was excellent! St Peter's filet was spot on!light and extremely flavorful with your choice of pasta and sauce for the pasta. The squid ink pasta special was just amazing! Desserts were delicious and very well made. This place is a local gem!
Venere is an amazing true Italian restaurant. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you are in Italy. The staff always greets you with a warm welcome and makes you feel at home. The bread is out of this world, made fresh and served warm, and melts in your mouth. The appetizers are on a different level. Everything makes your taste buds burst with the elegant flavors, and the freshness is like none other. The pasta and main courses are perfectly plated. The meat is tender, flavorful, and juicy. The pasta is made fresh, and the sauces are hand-crafted and made perfectly. The desserts are authentic Italian and pair well with the most amazing espresso martini( and I am an espresso martini snob). I have never had an espresso martini that is made perfectly with a fresh espresso. The owners, Angelo and Frank, are welcoming, making sure every dish is made perfectly, and they ensure every customer experience is enjoyable. Venere is an excellent place for family dinners and celebrations, and the catering is out of this world. Venere is numinal. Be sure to check this place out if you haven't. It is a must-eat at a restaurant.
I’ve been to Venere a few times. Every time I leave happy & full! Venere is old school Italian and ticks all the boxes when it comes to delicious pastas, entrees, appetizers, the works. Wait staff is sweet and approachable. Owner is always there and is a very nice guy. Go here if you want great food from great people!
We callled last minute Sunday night. They graciously accommodated us. Hostess and server were incredibly nice and cared about our comfort and continued to ask if our meal was ok and we were satisfied. The last time I was at Venere was when I was in college in 1991. Now I came back with my family of 5 and I couldn’t have been more pleasantly satisfied as my family can’t wait to go back. Thank you!
Really warm and friendly atmosphere with generous portions of Italian comfort food at the front and center. Our waitress Nancy made us feel very welcome and at home. My only complaint was they didn't have the berry cheesecake I had seen and coveted on the dessert tray when I came in to dine.
Very nice, old school, family run Italian restaurant. Mussels in white wine sauce and chopped salad for apps were delicious. Chicken Scarpiello was also well prepared. Boneless chicken, sliced sausage, chopped red pepper, and mushrooms in a brown sauce. If you are looking for something different or are tired of the restaurant chains, give Venere a try. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Welcoming old world good food. Baskets of warm bread and butter. Nicely prepared food with out pretense of fancy. Large portions to satisfy. Owner checks tables often along with attentive wait staff. Huge Veal chop was prepared temp perfect.
Never had a meal I didn’t like. Cozy atmosphere and the staff makes you feel welcome. 10/10 will be back
Our waiter insulted me - and was more than a little bit rude. The person who hosted our dinner for us knew him from our yearly dinner, and from his frequenting the restaurant. However, the waiter doesn't know me like that. The food is ok - pretty typical for an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is mostly plain.
Nice place good food. Bread was delicious always a good indicator the food will be good. My wife and I will be eating here again.
